Foad HP
Bio: Foad HP is a writer, actor, and stand-up comedian from Toronto. Since appearing on the stand-up circuit in 2012, Foad has been a finalist in countless comedy competitions. The 2014 Brantford Comedy Festival’s Rising Star Competition, and the 2016 Cracking Up The Capital Comedy Competition. He is the winner of the 2016 Toronto Comedy Brawl. Foad is also the inaugural winner of Absolute Comedy Toronto’s Prove You’re A Comic Contest . His work has been featured on CBC Punchline, SiriusXM, and gone viral on Reddit.
Sara Starkman
Bio: A self-proclaimed “sitdown comedian” from Toronto, Sara branched out from humour blogging into the world of standup just two short years ago. Since then she’s opened for a number of headlining acts including Wendy Liebman and Matt Braunger, was a finalist in the citywide Empire Comedy Brawl 2016 and will be performing in Toronto’s SheDot Festival 2017.
Nick Nemeroff
Bio: Nick Nemeroff is a cool and strong guy from montreal. so far He’s performed in the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Comedy Store in Sydney, JFL42, and on hot tub with Kurt and Kristen. his writing can be seen on CBC comedy. When Nick was a teenager the comedian Sinbad singled him out in the crowd at a major festival to joke about the complexities of puberty. Nick was not comfortable but he played along
Ronen Geisler
Bio: Ronen Geisler is a Jewish stand-up comedian based in Toronto, Ontario. He has appeared at a variety of comedy clubs in Toronto, Beijing, Montreal, Ottawa, and New York City. He also hosts the popular Learn English Funcast Podcast. Where he teaches English learners around the world how to learn English through jokes. He was also a performer at the 2016 Beaver and Bacon Comedy Festival opening for Kenny vs Spenny.
The Host: Simon Rakoff
Bio: A veteran of the Canadian comedy scene, he has performed in every province and is widely regarded as one of the quickest and cleverest Canadian stand-up comedians. He has appeared on numerous Canadian television shows and festivals, including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs.
